Winter Coats

While it may seem strange for someone who lives in California to own an absurd number of coats, I travel so much that I've been in anywhere from -20deg to 100deg in the last 4 month span. So needless to say, winter coats take up a fair amount of space in my limited closet.

Here is my current winter rotation:

1. Ganni (via Yoox) gray wool moto coat - perfect oversized fit and soft cashmere/wool blend makes this one a keeper!
2. Sheinside plaid zipper coat -  trendy, but the price was right and is a nice coat to throw on as a light layer
3. Talbots oversized boyfriend wool coat - my version has gold buttons, but either way, this one is also a winner for when sweaters need to piled underneath
4. Andrew Marc NY black wool coat with black fur lining - cozy, warm, and classic
5. INC pink boucle coat - probably my least worn coat, but I'm trying to incorporate it into my wardrobe more often
6. Loiza (via Yoox) burgundy military wool coat
7. Sisley gray wool coat (via Poshmark) - classic cool

A girl can never have too many coats... am I right?

  1. What an amazing collection of coats! No a girl can never have too many coats especially when the highs were I live have been in the teens this week. I'm loving coat #2, even though it might not be practical for an Upstate New York winter but Sheinside is so affordable. I've been wanting a red coat like #6 and #7 I could see myself getting a ton of use out of, neutral and classy.

  2. @ Liz: I highly recommend! The Loiza one (#6) is still available at Yoox for a total steal: http://www.yoox.com/us/41459253HQ/item?dept=#sts=orders80&cod10=41459253HQ&sizeId=

I agree the checkered one is probably not all that practical, but works as a nice light layer for a milder winter day here in California.
